In her formative years she worked as a bank teller in Beloit, WI. Over the years she worked as a teller at M&I Bank, Hancock and as a secretary for Bailey Trucking, Plainfield. Mary was a kind, humble woman who loved life, her family, and helping others. She would tell you her greatest gift was spending time with her family and friends. Her love, support and encouragement was always felt whether in intimate conversations, in large family gatherings, or by her attendance in all her children’s and grandchildren’s activities over the years. Her life was dedicated to serving others by donating her time and energy to church groups, mission trips, the Bloodmobile, food pantry and numerous other organizations. She was a lifelong member of the United Methodist Church, most recently at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church in Stevens Point. She was a good friend to many, loved nature, flowers and the arts. Her other passions were reading and books, baking and cooking, hosting guests for a meal, playing piano and singing. Mary’s final generous gift was to donate her body for research to the University of WI-Madison School of Medicine and Public Health.
Memorial Services will be held on Friday, April 17, 2026 at 11 am at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church, 600 Wilshire Blvd, Stevens Point.
