Mary B. Weller, 83, of Ranson, WV passed away Tuesday, Dec. 3, 2024, in Charles Town, WV surrounded by her loving family members.
Mary was born Dec. 14, 1940 in Bardane, WV, and was the daughter of the late Harry Blackford and Susan Griffith Blackford.
She was a teacher at C.W. Shipley Elementary School and was a bookkeeper at Valley Board Federal Credit Union for the Halltown Paperboard Mill.
She was a member of Oakland Community Church in Charles Town, WV.
She received her Elementary Education Degree from Shepherd College.
She was a loving mother and grandmother. She loved spending time with her family and had such a wonderful sense of humor.
She is survived by her children, Martin Weller, Jr. and wife Wendy, Mary Catherine Espinosa and husband Paul, Jason A. Weller and wife Darlene, and Jeffery A. Weller, all of Charles Town, WV; grandchildren, Paul Espinosa, Jr., Megan Torres, Emma Pedraza, Sarah Weller, Leah Weller, Samara Strictland, Lauren Weller, Rachel Weller, Hailey Weller, Kayla Holmes, Andrew Weller and Hope Weller. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 33 years, Martin Hartzell Weller, Sr; sister, Louise Boyd; brothers, William Blackford, Harry Blackford, James Blackford and Allen Blackford.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 10, 2024 at Melvin T. Strider Colonial Funeral Home, Ranson, WV with Rev. JoAnne Alexander officiating.
Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery, Shepherdstown, WV.
Friends will be received one hour prior to the service on Tuesday at the funeral home.
