Mary Elizabeth West, known as Libby, of Quebeck, Tennessee, passed from this life on November 28th, 2025.
Libby was born on March 17th, 1980, to Doug and Vickie Goff, who raised her in a home filled with faith, love and an unshakeable commitment to one another. That deep sense of family never left her, it became the center of who she was. Libby cherished her family with a love that ran deep and held a special relationship with her extended family.
She leaves behind her devoted husband, Brian; her parents, Doug and Vickie; her brother, Kyle and wife Amanda along with her beloved nieces, Loralei and Rita. She loved Brian's family dearly, leaving behind father- and mother-in-law, Harold and Paulette, brother and sister-in-law, Mike and Renee Beaty, and nephew, Jake.
Welcoming her into heaven are grandmother, Mary Swindell, and cousins Jordan and Kelly. Her faithful, fury, four-legged companion, Lola, waits for her in a gentle meadow.
In 2001, she married the love of her life. For almost 25 years, Libby and Brian built a life defined by friendship, laughter, and a quiet, steady devotion. In recent years, she endured significant health challenges and Brian stood by her through every season. Within the family he was known for the gentleness, patience, and care he showed her without fail.
Libby was blessed with a creative soul. She could sing, paint, draw and play the piano. She carried an artistic eye that noticed beauty others might pass by. She saw wonder in the world and had a unique gift for finding four-leaf clovers, almost as if the earth itself were handing her small signs of grace. She was always ready to capture God's beauty and quiet goodness around her through a camera lens.
She lived a life rooted in faith which shaped a significant part of who she was. She was a member at McElroy Church of Christ, where her father served as minister. Even in difficult days, she called her parents for prayer every night, a habit that solidified her trust in the God who carried her.
Libby's life can best be defined by love - love for God, love for Brian, love for her parents and brother, and love for the extended family who were woven into her life. She gave her heart fully, and those who received it will never forget her.
Family will receive visitors in the chapel of Oak Lawn Funeral Home on Wednesday, December 3rd, from 4-7PM.
