Mary Ann Williams Wilson entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, June 13, 2023, at the age of 83. She was a native of Hazelhurst, MS and a resident of Waggaman, LA. Mary attended UNO, Delgado, and Sidney N. Collier College. She was a retired nurse of Ochsner Medical Center and had worked at various hospital in the New Orleans Area. Beloved wife of the late Isaiah Wilson. Devoted mother of Helen J. Wilson, Hazel J. Wilson, Sandra F. Simmons and the late Larry D. Wilson, and Isaiah D Wilson. Grandmother of Natasha S. Smith, Stephanie A. Smothers, and Dwayne S. Smith, Jr. Daughter of the late Van and Ollie Mae Williams. Granddaughter of the late Charlie and Eliza Henley. Sister of J.C. (Annette) Williams of Severn, MD, Dudley (Sarah) Williams of Pascagoula, MS, John E. Williams of Omaha, NE, Coby L. Williams of Washington, D. C. and the late David Williams. Mother-in-law of James Paul Simmons, Jr. Cousin of Jim (Naomi) Singleton, also survived by 7 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral service at Davis Mortuary Service 6820 Westbank Expressway Marrero, LA on Wednesday June 28, 2023, at 10:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the above-named parlor.
