MARY'S JOURNEY
I lift up my eyes to the mountains-
where does my help come from?
2 My help comes from the,Lord
the Maker of heaven and earth.
Psalms 121:1-1
Mary E. Williams, a resident of Salisbury, Maryland, passed away peacefully at the age of sixty-three (63) at Einstein Jefferson Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
She was born in Bridgeton, New Jersey, and raised in Newark, New Jersey. Mary was a proud graduate of Central High School in Newark. Throughout her life, she worked diligently in the poultry industry and later at The Daily Times in Salisbury, Maryland.
Mary was a woman of joy, creativity, and faith. She loved working on puzzles, crossword challenges, and coloring in her spare time. A true movie enthusiast, she eagerly watched the latest releases. She also enjoyed gospel and R&B music -singing joyfully even if she couldn't always carry a tune.
Traveling and spending time with her family brought her great happiness. She was devoted to giving God praise and glory, and she loved hearing and sharing good sermons. Conversations about Jesus flowed naturally from her heart, both inside and outside the church.
Mary will also be remembered for her radiant smile, her love for fashion and jewelry, her carefully styled hair, and her passion for taking pictures. Her presence reminded others that "everything is going to be okay."
She was preceded in death by her father, Robbie Williams, Sr., her mother, Gazie L. Winder and her brother, Charles E. Williams.
Mary leaves to cherish her memory three children: Timothy Williams, Christopher Williams, and Lakeshia (Tunde) Bamgbose; two brothers, Richard Goslee and Robbie Williams Jr.; two sisters-in-law, Rosalyn Williams and Deena Williams; three grandchildren, Nevaeh Fields, Shania Williams, and Seyifunmi Bamgbose, and a special friend, Ronnie Frison. She also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and dear friends.
Mary will be greatly missed and forever cherished in our hearts
