Maryann Legge

Maryann "Mary" Legge (nee McColligan), age 81, passed unexpectedly, but peacefully, at home on Wednesday, October 15, 2025. Born in Camden to the late Edward and Hilda McColligan, Mary grew up in Gloucester City but found home in Mantua Township, where she raised her family and enjoyed her senior years.
Mary is survived by her two sons, John Legge Jr. and wife Patty of Sewell, NJ and Bob Legge and wife Kim of Houston, TX, as well as grandchildren Kevin and wife, Hanna, Elisabeth, Madeleine, Ella, and Wyatt.
Predeceased by her brother James McColligan (late wife Jeannette), Mary leaves behind siblings Dolores "Sue" Davis (late husband Stan), Hilda "Judy" Greenwood (Jim), and Edward McColligan (Sandy).
Mary formerly worked as a dispatcher for Delaware Valley Wholesale Florist and as a cafeteria cashier at Mobil Oil in Paulsboro and Campbell's Soup in Camden. After retirement, Mary enjoyed taking the seniors bus shopping and to play bingo, completing find-a-word books, and watching the Game Show Network "to keep the brain young."
Mary's greatest joy in life came from "minding" her grandchildren when they were young and continued into their adult years when she could be counted on to bake brownies for birthdays and make chocolate pudding pie for holiday celebrations.
