Maryanne Bardwil Lynch, 72, of Harrison, New York, passed away peacefully on September 2, 2025 surrounded by her adoring family.

Born in New York City, Maryanne was raised in Rye, New York, alongside her six siblings. She attended Resurrection School, Sacred Heart Greenwich, and Stonehill College, where she met her devoted husband, Kevin. They married in 1978, before she embarked on successful sales careers at Xerox and Gartner.

Maryanne made a significant impact in every community endeavor she took on. She never took no for an answer and always made those around her feel included, valued, and celebrated.

At The Apawamis Club, she was honored to serve as one of the first two women appointed to the Board of Governors. A passionate and formidable golfer, Maryanne earned nine Ladies' Club Championship titles, along with numerous other regional honors. She also served as President of the Women's Westchester Fairfield Golf Association and Head Coach of the Rye Country Day School Boys' Varsity Golf Team.

Above all, Maryanne's greatest love and joy was her family. She is survived by her husband, Kevin; her daughters, Jennifer Amantea (Christian) and Stephanie Williams (Jay); and her adored grandchildren, CJ and Luke Amantea, and James and Grace Williams.

Maryanne's memory is lovingly carried forward by her sisters, Catherine Burke (Ray), Susan Bragg (Tim), Nancy Wells (Doug), Patricia Dudzik (John), and Elizabeth Bardwil; her sister-in-law, Jane Lynch; and her many beloved nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. Predeceased by her parents, Nadia Bardwil Gerrity and Ameen G. Bardwil, and her brother, James A. Bardwil, they are now reunited again.

The Lynch family extends heartfelt thanks to the incredible family, friends, and caregivers who supported Maryanne through her courageous five-year battle with cancer. Maryanne's legacy will forever be one of service, friendship, and boundless generosity. She will be deeply missed and always remembered.

A casual gathering of family and friends will be held on Thursday, September 11, from 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at Shenorock Shore Club. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, September 12, at 11:00 a.m. at Church of the Resurrection, with a celebration of Maryanne's life to follow at The Apawamis Club. The Mass will be live-streamed on the Church of the Resurrection website.

To honor Maryanne's memory, the Maryanne Lynch Legacy Fund has been established to continue her lifelong dedication to community, Catholic education, and compassionate giving. Those who wish to celebrate her life and legacy are invited to contribute to the fund, helping to carry forward the values she held dear.
