MaryJean Normile Obituary
The loving wife of Richard T. Normile, Sr., MaryJean was born in Long Branch, New Jersey on February 21, 1948, to the late Beatrice (Straniero) and Rocco Morea.
MaryJean and Richard were high school sweethearts marrying in 1968. Settling in Union Beach where she was a lifelong resident and communicant of Holy Family RCC, they raised their family.
MaryJean worked as a teachers aide at Memorial School in Union Beach, a job she loved, before retiring to help with her grandchildren, a job she loved more.
MaryJean is predeceased by her daughter Angela, parents and her sister Joanne Nixon.
She leaves behind her loving husband Richard, devoted children Pamela and husband Dave McTernan, Richard Jr., Ryan and husband James Moore and Matthew and his wife Sandie. She also leaves behind her sister Michele and husband Ray Bradford and beloved grandchildren Alexa and Paige McTernan, Zachary and Haleigh Normile, and Taryn, Morgan and Matthew Normile. Visitation will be held 4 PM to 8 PM on Monday, January 12th and again will be held 9 AM to 9:45 AM on Tuesday, January 13th at Day Funeral Home in Keyport, New Jersey. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10 AM on Tuesday, January 13th at Holy Family RC Church in Union Beach, NJ and interment will follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery.
