William Mason Rodgers, 71, of Folkston, GA passed away suddenly at his home Thursday, June 12, 2025. He was born June 29, 1953 in Folkston, GA to the late Henry Benjamin Rodgers, Sr. and Margaret “Maggie” Mason Stokes Rodgers. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Folkston and attended St. Francis of Asissi Catholic Church. He was a Ranger 1 with the Georgia Forestry Commission for 31 years before his retirement.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years: Kathleen O’Brien Rodgers; his children: J. Erin Rodgers, Genevieve C. Caswell, Micah Austin Rodgers and Joseph William (Liza) Rodgers; 4-grandchildren: Luke (Kailah) Milton, Jack Callaghan Lake, Forrest Scott Herick, Marcus Lee Caswell, III; a great granddaughter: Laila Brooke Milton; his sister: Rose Gills and his brother: Ben Rodgers.
A Rosary will be held Tuesday, June 17 at 4:30 PM at St. Francis of Asissi Catholic Church and receiving of friends will begin at 5:00 PM. A Celebration of Life service will be held Wednesday, June 18, 2025 at 3:00 PM at St. Francis of Asissi Catholic Church.
Memorialization will be by cremation.
