Our mami, grandmother, great grandmother was the heart of our family - the kind of woman whose presence alone made you feel safe, seen, and loved. She came to this country from Colombia with nothing but courage and determination, and through sheer strength and resilience, she built a life from scratch. she showed all of us what true independence looks like, radiating confidence, grace, and quiet power in everything she did.

She was our anchor, our safe place, and the keeper of memories we will hold onto forever. summers at her house - where time slowed and family meant everything. Those moments were gifts, and she was the reason they existed.

Her loyalty was unmatched. If you were hers, you were hers for life. She loved deeply, protected fiercely, and stood unwavering for her family. Now, she is reunited with her soulmate, Pedro - back where love is whole again, and hearts are at peace.

Though she is no longer with us in body, her spirit lives on in the confidence she taught us to carry, the strength she modeled, and the love she poured into every generation. We are who we are because of her.

She will forever be our foundation, our example, and our heart.
