Matthew Anderson Obituary
Matthew John Anderson was sadly taken from our world in the early morning of February 15, 2024, at only 40 years old. Matthew was born to Steven and Cristine Hansford Anderson on October 12,1983 at Lutheran Hospital in Wheat Ridge, Colorado. He was little brother to both Steven Anderson, Jr. and Tiffany Anderson Sanders. He was uncle, cousin, nephew, grandson, and friend, but mostly an amazing father to his daughter, Emilee Anderson.
Matthew proudly graduated from Fort Lupton High School in 2002. While in high school he worked at Grocery Warehouse before starting a career at Ball Metal Container where he was a mechanic for 21 years. Matt had many hobbies that fell into the mechanics field as he was truly a mechanic at heart. He loved racing BMX Bikes when he was younger and grew up with a deep passion for building cars and drag racing. He was the proud owner of "Stormin' Norman," his special El Camino. He loved taking Emilee on daddy/daughter dates to restaurants, amusement parks, auto shows, anything to do with animals, movies, and many other events. He loved to build and collect model cars while enjoying a movie from his vast collection.
Matt was a big fan of the Denver Broncos, but he was an even bigger fan of NASCAR. His favorite driver was Dale Earnhardt, Jr. He enjoyed swimming, jet skiing, camping, and spending time with the people he cared about.
He was an extremely lovable man and everyone who knew him loved him no matter how mad he could make them. He could be hilarious with many jokes that would always cheer you up. He had beautiful eyes, a heart of gold, and a smile that could melt anyone. He was one of the most caring people you could meet no matter what his mood. He always made sure everyone was okay and happy, making them feel loved, protected, and special. He was a gentleman to all the women in his life. Anytime you called on Matt, he was there to help. He was a handsome, proud man who earned everything on his own.
We will never forget his cute chuckle with his shoulders back, chin up, and proud look on his face. He was who he was with no apologies about it whatsoever, and we will always love him for that.
Rest in peace to a pure, beautiful, loving soul. We love you forever and always.
