DT, Susan has spoken to me many times about you and how wonderful you are in your Christian faith. Thank you for being such a good and supportive friend to her and to Matthew, and God bless you for giving Susan the perfect Bible verse.

Saw and talked to Matt on 15th. Dearest Matt, rest in peace, your worldly struggles are done. Dearest Sue and Mark, my prayers are with you. My prayers and heart with are the Atkinson family and the Parenteau family, both best of friends and family.

As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of God, family and friends. Please take comfort in the words found at 2nd Thessalonians 2:16,17.

Matthew, I loved you before you were even born and I´ll never stop. I´ll never forget your first Christmas. I think your mom and dad were upset with me because I gave you.as much as, if not more, than Santa did. You were the one who made me an Aunt, my only nephew by blood and I loved you as if you were my own so I couldn´t help myself. I felt so badly for you having casts on your legs and didn´t want you to feel bad so I bought a boy baby doll and I made casts for it´s legs so you wouldn´t feel alone with yours. Life sure was not on your side sweet boy, but you kept pushing forward despite it all. I can´t believe that you´re gone, but I will try to accept it knowing that you will never again feel any pain or suffering. I keep picturing you up in Heaven eating Tootsie Rolls with Grandpa. I will cherish the memories of you and will keep you in my heart forever. I love you Matthew. You will be so sadly missed. Rest in peace and don´t let Grandpa eat too many cookies.

I remember Matthew as always being so thoughtful and loving, with a great sense of humor. He was so happy when Susan found love again and got married to her Paul. I loved him like a son.
