Loreen A. Virnelson

Loreen Ann Virnelson on August 23, 2025 of Swedesboro. Age 78. Loving mother of Lee "Drew" A. Virnelson (Tracee) of Depford, Amy L. Dion (Joel) of Mickleton, and the late James Virnelson. Cherished sister of Richard Loftus of California. Devoted grandmother of Lyla and Kelsey. Loreen loved to travel, especially when it meant sharing new adventures with her closest friends. She was proud of her work at AT&T in Cedar Brook, NJ, where she broke barriers as the first female communications technician on the Eastern Seaboard. During her career, she played a part in the early development of the internet and supported several important military projects. Beyond her many accomplishments, Loreen was known for her wonderful sense of humor and the special closeness she shared with her family. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Friday, August 29, 2025 from 10am to 11am in The Chapel at BOUCHER FUNERAL HOME, 1757 Delsea Drive, Deptford, NJ 08096.
