AIKEN, SC - Matthew Lawrence Bolon, born on July 22, 1953, in Cleveland, Ohio, passed away peacefully at home on September 11, 2025, at the age of 72.
He dedicated over 40 years of his life to his career as a Procurement Senior Specialist with SRNS. In his younger years, Matthew enjoyed the thrill of operating the family marina, The Deck, located in East Lake, Ohio.
Matthew was a diehard fan of the Cleveland Browns and cherished the time he spent outdoors, particularly fishing with his boys. His caring nature was evident in how he consistently put others before himself. He found immense joy in the company of his grandsons and treasured moments spent with family at home.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Janice Lawrence Bolon, and his sisters, Melissa Bolon and Sarah Daris.
A Funeral Liturgy will be held on Wednesday, September 17, 2025, at Shellhouse-Rivers Funeral Home. The service will begin at 3:00 PM, followed by a visitation from 3:45 PM to 5:00 PM.
