Matthew Bryson
PRICE- Matthew Spencer Bryson, age 33, passed away suddenly at Castleview Hospital in Price on Saturday, March 23, 2024.
Matthew was born on October 12, 1990 in Price, Utah to Lynn R. Bryson and Lori Jewkes Bryson.
He was raised in Kemmerer, Wyoming and married his lifelong friend and high school sweetheart, Brooke Yvonne Sheets on June 21, 2014. They welcomed two sons, Carter and Kolter, and created the perfect family. He was the most loving husband and father. His family meant the world to him.
Matthew loved fishing and boating; Lake Powell was his favorite place to be. He looked forward every year to camping with family at Mud Springs. The outdoors was his happy place. One of his favorite memories was going up to Ham's Fork on Sunday nights with his parents and siblings. He loved recreating those memories with his wife and sons even more.
He had a kind heart and would help anyone who needed it. He will be missed by everyone who knew him but most of all by his family.
He worked as a CRO at the Huntington Power Plant and was thankful for the friendships he had and support from his crew and supervisors.
He is survived by his wife, Brooke; children, Carter and Kolter; parents, Lynn and Lori Bryson; in-laws, Brent and Kym Sheets; grandparents, Dale and Alice Jewkes; brothers, Michael Bryson (Aletha) and Jared Bryson (Camilla); sister, Chanell Atwood (Josh); many loved ones; and nieces and nephews that were very special to him.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Dean and Bonnie Bryson; uncle, Michael Allen Bryson; and his best friend, Donnie Berge.
"I love you every day and now I will miss you every day." – Mitch Albom
