Matthew Flick

Matthew Dale Flick, 53, of Montrose, Colorado, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, February 20, 2026. He was born on June 27, 1972, in Anderson, Indiana, to Ronald and Vickie (Bedwell) Flick.

On June 15, 1996, Matt married Amanda “Mandy” Davis. She survives him, along with their children, Lucas (Kendall Griffee) Flick of Mishawaka, Indiana, and Mackenzie Flick of Montrose, Colorado; and his brother, Mark (Bridget) Flick of Aiken, South Carolina. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Dale and Betty Bedwell.

After graduating from Purdue University, Matt spent much of his career as a Project Manager with Majority Builders in South Bend, Indiana. Most recently, he worked as a Project Manager for Stryker Construction in Montrose, Colorado.

Matt was a true outdoorsman who embraced all that the Western Slope of Colorado had to offer. He enjoyed camping, off-roading, fishing, hiking, and exploring the beautiful scenery around him. Being in nature brought him a deep sense of peace.

Later in life, Matt developed a passion for cooking and took great pride in his skills. He was also a natural problem solver with an incredible ability to fix just about anything.

Above all, Matt was a devoted husband, father, and son, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

A celebration of Matt’s life will be held on Sunday, March 8, at Cruz Family Funeral Home in Osceola, Indiana. Visitation will begin at 2:00 p.m., followed by the memorial service at 3:00 p.m. A private interment will take place at a later date.

For those unable to attend in person, a livestream of the service will begin 10 minutes prior to the memorial service. We invite those unable to attend in person to join us for a livestream of the funeral service, so everyone can honor and remember Matt together by viewing his service in real time in the window below.
