Matthew Blake Gremling

Matthew Blake Gremling, 48, of Republic, Missouri, went to his heavenly home February 16, 2022. He was born August 20, 1973, in Carthage, Missouri, to John and Mary Ann (Dyer) Gremling.
After graduating from Carthage High School, Matt attended William Jewell College where he received a bachelor of science in communications and business. Matt's career included working 23 years at Stamina Products, Inc.
Matt met the love of his life, and best friend, Kelli McCormick, after college and they married August 18, 1997. The couple were blessed with a daughter, Madisyn Gremling.
Matt loved spending time with his family and friends. He was a member of Abundant Life Church in Springfield, Missouri, where he worshipped Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. Matt enthusiastically supported the SURGE Project.
Matt is preceded in death by his father, John Allen Gremling; his father-in-law, Larry McCormick; and mother-in-law, Linda McCormick. He is survived by his wife, Kelli Gremling; daughter, Maddy Gremling; his mother, Mary Ann Gremling; extended family and friends.
Visitation will be held 9:30 ~ 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, February 22, 2022, at Abundant Life Church, 3531 S. Scenic Ave., in Springfield. A celebration of life will follow at 10:00 a.m., with Pastor Ben Davis officiating. A private family graveside service will be held later at Fasken Cemetery in Carthage, Missouri.

His care has been entrusted to Walnut Lawn Funeral Home, Ltd. DeGraffenreid-Wood Crematory.
