Matthew Wayne Harshman, 45, of Chippewa Falls, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, September 29, 2024.
Matthew was born on December 17, 1978 in Eau Claire, WI to Robert “Grandpa Bob,” and Linda Harshman. He graduated from Chippewa Falls High School in 1997. Matthew held various positions, including Salesman for Get It Now, Bartender at the Sunbeam, Sales Associate at TJMaxx, EMT for Arcadia Ambulance, CNA at Marinuka Manor, factory work in Winona, MN and Bloomer, WI and a volunteer for the Trempealeau Fire Department. Matthew was married to Kessa Greendeer for over 14 years.
Matthew enjoyed working on automobiles, a hobby he shared with his father and brothers. In his free time, he could be found fishing, going on motorcycle rides, and spending quality time with family. Family was his whole world.
Matthew is survived by his mother, Linda Harshman of Chippewa Falls, WI; his children, Trentin (McKinley) Harshman of North Carolina, Jaida (Nick) Harshman of Holmen, WI, Ethan Harshman and Annaliese Harshman of Trempealeau, WI; and his siblings, Chad (Margo) Harshman of Cornell, WI, Dan (Michelle) Harshman of Chippewa Falls, WI, and Tim (Tammy) Harshman of Gilman, WI; along with nieces and nephews, Lindsay (Jake) Marion, Heather (Brandon) Felce, Abigail (Ryan) Helland, Tyler Harshman, Tori (Torrey) Harshman, Davis Harshman, Arianna Harshman, Gabe Harshman, and many more family members and friends.
He is preceded in death by his father, Robert Harshman, Grandma Betty, and Grandma Anita.
Visitation for Matthew will take place on Thursday, October 10, 2024 at 3:00 – 5:00 p.m. at Pederson-Volker Funeral Home in Chippewa Falls, with funeral services from 5:00 - 6:00 p.m. Officiant (pastor) will be Andy Lefebre. Matthew will be laid to rest at Prairie View Cemetery in Hallie on Friday, October 11, 2024.
