MATTHEW ROBERT HOOVER Matthew Robert Hoover age 34, of Lupton, Michigan, passed away on May 11, 2024, in Hale, Michigan. Matthew was born in West Palm Beach, Florida on July 17, 1989, to Nick Hoover and the late Sandra Forro-Hoover. Matthew grew up in the Hale/Prescott area and was a graduate of Hale High School Class of 2007. Following high school, Matthew began his work as a tree cutter. He was very talented at his craft and spent many years trimming and cutting trees down for Schible Tree Care. Some of Matthew's favorite hobbies consisted of hunting, fishing, being outdoors, gardening, picking morals, riding motorcycles, and spending time with his family and friends. He was a loving guy who could always put a smile on your face with his witty charisma. Matthew was also a strong, hardworking man who would do anything for anyone. Family and friends were the most important things to him, and there was nothing he enjoyed doing more than making memories with the ones he loved. He will be missed dearly by many. Matthew is survived by his father, Nick Hoover and his wife Tracey; sisters, Ashley (Justin) Hoover, Nikki Hoover, and Lindsey Shellhaas; brother, John Shellhaas; Grandmother, Joyce Forro; Aunt and Godmother, Naomi Bell; best friends, Bradley Bunner and James Cloum; brother-in-law, Larry Reinhart; and cousins, Eric Rohn, Nicole Carlson, and Jeremy Forro, as well as many other aunts, uncles, and cousins. Matthew is preceded in death by his mother, Sandra Forro-Hoover; grandfather, Bob Zorro; uncles, Ken Forro and Ricky Voss Sr., and cousin, Ricky Voss Jr. Per Matthew's wishes, cremation has taken place.
