MATTHEW PARKER JACKS, age 31, of Tullahoma, Tenn., departed this life on February 21, 2023, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center following a brief illness. Mr. Jacks was born in Tullahoma, Tenn., to Patricia Haut Jacks and the late Teddy Parker Frame. He was employed for several years as a nursing assistant at Dyersburg Regional Medical enter in Dyersburg, Tenn., before becoming disabled. He was a member of Decherd First Baptist Church. He loved fishing, cooking, playing the lottery and hanging out with his family and friends. He was a very adventurous person as well as, a loving and caring Son, Brother, and Uncle. He will be remembered as a person that enjoyed making everyone laugh.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Gale McGowan, Paternal Grandmother Daisy Frame and Paternal Grandfather, Bobby Frame.
He is survived by his mother, Patty Stephens, of Tullahoma, Sisters; Amber Jacks also of Tullahoma. Angel Hargrove and husband, Donny of Lynchburg, Tenn., Maternal Grandfather, Jerry Haut of Illinois, Step-father, Danny Stephens of Tullahoma, Nieces; Dezi, Kailee, Nephews; Tyler, Jessie, Brylan, Mason and Levi, 1-great-niece, Kenzie.
Services for Mr. Jacks will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, February 26, in the Chapel of Grant Funeral Services with Bro. Ray Gardner, officiating.
Visitation for Mr. Jacks will be held from 12:00 Noon on Sunday until service time at 2:00 in the Chapel of Grant Funeral Services.
Interment will follow in the Maplewood Cemetery in Tullahoma.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made by contacting Grant Funeral Services.
