Matthew Kirk Obituary

Matthew loved riding motorcycles and restoring cars. He played baseball, football, ran track, and from the age of five to his late thirties, he played amateur hockey.
Along with his mother, Matthew is survived by his brother, Bartholomew Kirk of Clinton, MI; a niece and nephew, Emily and Jacob Kirk and their mother, Ruth Kirk, all of Tecumseh, MI; an uncle, Mark Mitchell of Gainesville Missouri; and several cousins.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm Friday, May 9, 2025 at the Clinton Chapel of Handler Funeral Homes, with Reverend Tom Hawkins officiating. Visitation will be from 11:00 am until the time of the service at 1:00 pm. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery in Clinton. Memorial contributions may be made to the Clinton Food Pantry or any agency that benefits animals or the homeless.
