Matt was the beloved son of Kevin J. Langlais of Cohoes and is now reunited with his mother, Jean Robbins Langlais who just passed away in December.
Matt was currently attending Bryant and Stratton College and working at Hannaford in Brunswick. He had also been employed at Valvoline and at Shelter Enterprises in Cohoes. He also always enjoyed working with his hands and did many construction projects around the area.
Matt's greatest joy in life was definitely his family. He especially loved spending time with his kids and was always very supportive of his entire family. An excellent drummer, he would play in a band with his uncles most weekends. He also enjoyed bowling and cooking.
In addition to his father, Matt is survived by his beloved children, Matthew J. Langlais, Jr., Brianna Langlais, Caden Wydroonkowski and Isabelle Langlais; by his brother Arthur Teeter (Katherine) of Cohoes and by his loving companion, Sarah Lajeunesse of Cohoes. Matt is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
A funeral service will be held Sunday at 5 p.m. in the Fitzgerald Funeral Home, 105 Vliet Blvd. Cohoes.
Relatives and friends may visit at the funeral home from 3-5 p.m. prior to the service.
