We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Matthew I. Lovato, a beloved son, who left this world on January 28, 2024, in Omaha, Nebraska. Born on April 6, 1992, in Albuquerque, New Mexico, Matthew's journey was filled with love, compassion, and a remarkable spirit that touched the lives of all those who had the privilege of knowing him."

Matthew's untimely departure leaves a void that can never be filled but his memory shall forever remain etched in the hearts of loved ones. He is survived by his devoted mother Bernadette Lovato who was not only his mother but also his closest friend throughout their journey together. The bond they shared was unbreakable and their relationship served as an embodiment of unconditional love.

Matthew loved riding his BMX bike, that was his passion. To all who were touched by Matthew's radiant presence, there is no doubt that his legacy will live on. As we celebrate his remarkable life, let us remember the joy he brought us all and find solace in knowing that he would want nothing more than for us to carry on with love and compassion in our hearts.

A funeral service will be held at Paragon Church in Rio Rancho on February 8, 2024 beginning at 10:00 am to 12:00 pm with burial to follow at Our Lady of Sorrows Cemetery in Bernalillo, NM.

Matthew I. Lovato will forever be remembered as an extraordinary soul who touched lives with kindness, love, and compassion. His memory will serve as a guiding light for all those fortunate enough to have crossed paths with him. May his spirit find eternal peace and may his legacy continue to inspire generations to come.
