Matthew John Marriage

Matthew John Marriage, 49 of The Villages, FL, passed away November 2, 2025 in Spanish Plaines Hospital after a brief illness. Matt was born July 29th, 1976 in Stanford-le-Hope, Essex England, but spent most of his life in Western New York.
He was preceded in death by his father, Michael John Marriage. He is survived by his four children, Declan Marriage, Orissa Marriage, MacAllen Marriage, and Essex Marriage; as well as his mother, Elizabeth Ann Marriage, and brother, Robert Marriage, and Robert's wife, Christine Baker Marriage.
Matt attended Grand Island High School and Niagara County Community College. He enjoyed working in his chosen field of Information Technology and worked for several companies in Northern Virginia and Western New York as a network engineer.
Later in his life he moved to The Villages, FL where he enjoyed driving a golf cart throughout the local area and helping people - rarely accepting payment.
Matt inherited a love of the outdoors from his father, and enjoyed camping while a member of Troop 510 on Grand Island New York. As an adult he took his family camping almost every weekend during the warmer months, and in 2021 he ventured out on the Appalachian Trail completing a large segment over the course of several months.
He'll be remembered for his generous nature and quick wit. He never missed an opportunity to tell a joke or make a funny remark.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Beyers Funeral Home and Crematory on Friday, November 7, 2025 from 2:00pm until 4:00pm with a service at 3:00pm.
