Matthew Menter Obituary
Matthew enjoyed volunteering and helping his church when he can.
Surviving Matthew is his son, Johnathon Menter of Clawson. Siblings, Tamara (Lance) Farkas of Royal Oak, Harold (Leigh) Menter of Ionia, Mitchell (Lori) Menter of Owosso, Michael Menter of Troy, Luke Menter of California, Katherine (Ian) Daugherty of Ann Arbor, and Sarah Menter of Troy. His mother, Jill Menter of Troy. Several nieces and nephews. Matthew was preceded in death by his brother, John Menter and father, Thomas Menter.
Cremation has taken place and Memorial Services will be held at Lake Funeral Home in Ionia on Saturday, January 24, 2026 at 4:00 p.m. There will be a visitation at the funeral home from 2:00 p.m. until the time of services. Arrangements in care of Lake Funeral Home in Ionia. Online condolences may be made at www.lakefuneralhomes.com

I am so glad we got to know Matt over the last couple of years. He was such a joy to be around. He always had a smile on his face, kind words to say, and a helping hand to give. Our heartfelt condolences to Matt's son, his mother, and his siblings. Until we see him again, he will be missed. Ramon & Mary Zamora
