Matthew Mark Mollohan
June 25, 2004 – November 30th 2024
With heavy hearts, we announce the unexpected passing of our beloved son Matthew Mark
Mollohan on November 30th , 2024, at the age of 20.
Born on June 25, 2004, Matthew brought immense joy into our lives. Matthew was our quiet
storm, a kind loving soul who marched to the beat of his own drum, making him very unique
soul. He loved listening to music, spending time with his family and long drives. Matthew was a
2022 graduate of Hope D. Wall school in Aurora IL. He participated in many activities at school
including the special Olympics.
Matthew is survived by his parents, Kenneth and Caroline Mollohan, siblings Kira Mollohan and
Taylor Jasper. Grandfather Brian Horgan, Aunts & Uncles, Maureen Cahill (Bob) Kristi
Mennecke (Jim), Bill Mollohan (Brigit), Michael Mollohan, Tim Mollohan & Ann McClarty plus
several cousins.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents William and Joan Mollohan and
maternal grandmother Willemina Horgan.
Matthew became an order donor through the Gift of Hope organization. He has gone on to save
many lives. We are so proud of you.
The tears that we shed today are those of all the joy and the memories we have! Your life has
purpose, and your life will go on to do wonderful things. You will always be in our hearts!
Matthew is loved to infinity and beyond!
