Matthew R. Kolbe passed away peacefully at the age of 61 in Rocky River, Ohio. Born on July 15, 1964, in Saginaw, Michigan, Matt was the first of six children.
Always a positive, encouraging voice to others, Matt will be remembered for his passion for life and contagious energy. Matt was a social butterfly whose gift of gab made him one of the most endearing bartenders. He was a favorite of both coworkers and patrons alike, known affectionately as Matty.
Matt loved being a father to his son, Dylan. He made sure he let everyone know how proud of him he was.
Matt is survived by his son, Dylan; siblings, Kevin, Jennifer (Wiles), and Heather; and several nieces and nephews.
Matt was preceded in death by his mother, Mary; brother, Michael; and sister, Tara.
No services are planned at this time; a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
