Matthew Sadecki Obituary
Matthew R. Sadecki, 33, of Bristol, died unexpectedly on Tuesday (February 4, 2025). Matt was born on May 5, 1991, in Farmington to John Sadecki and Kimberly (Van Kirk) Sadecki. He graduated from Lewis S. Mills High School and went on to chef at area restaurants. He formerly worked at Chute Gates in Terryville and was presently the chef at Pint and Plate Restaurant in Bristol. He enjoyed fishing and was a fan of the band, Nirvana. Matt is survived by his mother: Kimberly and step-father, George Salinas; his father: John and step-mother, Kim Sadecki; brothers: Markus, Jacob, and Nikolas Salinas; sisters: Amanda Reola and Madisyn Sadecki; his paternal grandmother: Jacqueline
Sadecki; and his girlfriend: Becky Souchins. Calling hours will be held at Funk Funeral Home, 35 Bellevue Ave., Bristol, on Friday (February 14, 2025) between 4 and 7 p.m.. Burial will be private. Please visit Matt's memorial website at www.FunkFuneralHome.com.
