Two weeks ago today I got the horrible news that Matt had passed away, I'm still in complete shock and wish more then anything that it wasn't true. Not a day has gone by that I haven't thought about him at least a hundred times. I have so many things I wish I could have said, so many questions left unanswered but most and best of all I have so many wonderful memories that I'll never forget for the rest of my life.
Matt was honestly one of the greatest people that I've ever had the pleasure of knowing, he was my best friend for a very long time and will always have a special place in my heart. I'll never forget how his face lite up the first time he held Kayla & Evan in his arms, he was so proud to be their daddy. I am constantly reminded of Matt when I look at our son, weather it's a silly grin, his dare devil personality, the face he makes when something has mayo on it, that famous eye roll or some off the wall crazy idea he has so in a way a piece of Matt is still here with us.
My thoughts and prayers are with all those he left behind. I truly hope that Matt has found peace.

I am so sorry to learn of Matt's passing. Matt was a very good friend of mine many years ago and I thought of him often. He's one of the funniest guys I know. I will always think of Matt and the Schenk family very fondly. I will pray for Matt and all his loved ones at this very difficult time.
