Mr. Matthew J. Stratton

Matthew J. Stratton of Reading, passed away suddenly on July 9, 2016, at the age of 24. He was the beloved son of John Stratton and Debra (Harkins) Stratton. Cherished brother of Stefanie Buchanan and her husband James and John Stratton and his wife Julie. Also survived by many loving cousins, aunts, uncles & friends. Matthew was a graduate of Reading High School Class of 2010. He was a 3 sport athlete who played hockey, baseball and lacrosse. He was a member of the Reading High School Super 8 Championship Team. He loved music and hanging out with his many friends. He was a fun loving kid who had a smile that would light up a room. Funeral from the Doherty Barile Family Funeral Home 11 Linden St. READING Thursday July 14th 2016 at 9:30am followed by a Funeral Mass Celebrating Matthew's Eternal Life in St. Agnes Church 186 Woburn St. Reading at 10:30am. Family and friends are kindly invited to gather and share remembrances with the family on Wednesday July 13th, 2016 from 4-8pm in the funeral home. Parking attendants and ramped entrance available.
