Matthew Sylvester Obituary
Mr. Matthew David Sylvester, age 54, passed away at his residence. Matthew was born on January 2, 1969 in Peoria, Illinois. He was the son of Sherian and the late David Sylvester; the grandson of Louise & E.C. Brown of Statesboro and Ray & Ethel Sylvester of Peoria, Illinois. Matthew lived most of his life in New York State and graduated from Bethlehem Central High School in Delmar, New York. He also graduated with honors from Pratt Institute in New York City. Matthew was currently employed by Jenjac Restoration in Savannah.
Matthew is survived by his mother, Sherian Brown Sylvester of Statesboro; his sister, Carrie Sylvester of Savannah; his aunt Jean Sylvester of Peoria, Illinois; as well as several cousins.
No services are planned at this time.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to your local humane society in his memory.
