It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Matthew Tyler Tegtmeyer on February 19, 2026, at the age of 35. He will be remembered fondly for his dry wit and the gentle, quiet nature that defined his spirit. His family finds comfort in remembering the gentle soul he was. He will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate enough to know him.
He is held in loving memory by his mother, Stacey; his father, Tom; and his stepfather, Bob and wife Lily. He also leaves behind his brothers, David, Alan and wife Sally, and Mike; uncle Gregg and wife Rachelle, aunt Karen and husband Bob. The family honors the quiet strength Matthew showed throughout his life and will miss him profoundly.
