He was known for his vibrant personality, characterized by a joyful spirit and a passion for life that touched all who knew him.
Matthew was a loving family man and a loyal friend, dedicated to bringing joy and laughter to those around him. He had a heart full of love for the Lord, as well as for his family and friends. Matthew was a jokester at heart, often spreading laughter and creating joyful memories for others. His playful spirit was matched only by his deep commitment to helping kids, showcasing his kind nature and generosity.
In addition to his devotion to his loved ones, Matthew was an avid animal lover. He adored his two dogs, Moxley and Ranger, as well as his two cats, Sprinkle and Cookie, and even a turtle named Frankie. His affection for these animals reflected the compassion and nurturing spirit that he possessed.
Throughout his life, Matthew displayed a fervent passion for sports, enjoying activities like wrestling, football, baseball, basketball, and hockey. His enthusiasm for skateboarding further exemplified his adventurous nature and love for life. He loved music, he played the guitar.
A memorial service to honor Matthew’s life will be held on September 13, 2025, at 1:00 PM at Meadows B.C., located at 3001 Los Rios Boulevard, Plano, Texas, 75074. Family and friends are invited to join in celebrating the remarkable life he led.
Matthew Dwayne Tennyson leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and compassion that will forever be remembered by those who were fortunate enough to know him. His spirit will live on in the hearts of his family, friends, and all whose lives he touched.
