Matthew Uzzle Obituary
Matthew Thomas Uzzle, age 31, of Marion, Illinois, passed away peacefully and surrounded by his friends and family on Tuesday, April 30, 2024 at his home in Marion, Illinois.
Matthew was born January 09, 1993 in Marion, Illinois, a son of John and Lisa (Leland) Uzzle. He went to many schools in Williamson County, but was a graduate of Herrin High School. Matt loved music, traveling, meeting new people, going to church and spending time with his family. Though he faced many physical adversaries, he will always be remembered for his courage, optimism, and a smile that could light up a room. His life touched all who knew him.
He is survived by his Father & Stepmother, John L. (Deborah) Uzzle of Marion, IL, and one sister, Stephanie (Brent) Robbs of Marion, IL. He is preceded in death by his mother, Lisa Uzzle and one sister, Victoria Uzzle.
Visitation will be Saturday, May 11th, 2024 from 9:00 AM - 11:00 PM at the Blue Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 11, 2024, 11:00 AM at Blue Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Wolf Creek Cemetery in rural Carbondale.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the Wolf Creek Cemetery.
