Matthew Alan Walden, 44 of West Terre Haute, passed away on Tuesday, December 2, 2025 in his residence. He was born in Terre Haute on July 31, 1981 to Charles Bruce Walden and Carol Joyce Erwin Walden.
Matthew graduated from West Vigo High School in 2000, and was employed as a cook at McDonalds. He loved watching Colts football and playing an assortment of music, watching movies, and playing video games.
He is survived by his sisters Rhonda Boone (Dwayne) and Tessa Klass (Joe), nephews Tyler Walden, Kal-El Klass, and Alexander Klass, nieces Phynix Burns and Joyce Klass, and great nieces Madison Walden and Phoebe Campbell, and several other extended family members. He was preceded in death by his parents Charels Bruce Walden and Carol Joyce Walden, and grandparents Hoot and Juanita Walden and Russell and Charlotte Erwin.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Fitzpatrick Funeral Home.
