Matthew G. Yankowski

Matthew G. Yankowski, 27, of West Bridgewater passed away Sunday, September 17, 2023.
Born March 4, 1996 in Brockton, MA. He was the beloved son of Lisa M. Yankowski and Donald F. Hill.
He attended West Bridgewater High School and Bridgewater Raynham High School.
Matt was happiest when outdoors and hanging out with his friends, especially around a huge fire. He enjoyed nature to its fullest. He loved riding his motorcycle with his brothers, friends, and most particularly riding to the N. Adams area. He loved all animals from squirrels to horses and more. He took his dog Harley everywhere he could.
Matt had a new found passion for woodworking, taking after his maternal grandfather, and tinkering in the garage working on various projects.
He was a loyal friend who loved his friends unconditionally and would do anything to help them. Matt will be sorely missed by all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Dorothy and Chester Yankowski of West Bridgewater and his maternal aunt, Jenifer Yankowski, also of West Bridgewater.
He is survived by his two aunts, Diane L. Yankowski Nolan of Rockland, MA and Cynthia Yankowski Westerdale, of N. Richland Hills, TX, he also has many cousins in Mass and Texas. He is also survived by his paternal grandparents David Hill, Sr. of Pembroke, MA and Edeltraud Fournier of Plymouth, MA, step-mother, Jenn Chadwell of Fall River, MA, step-sister Kayla Ferguson of Wareham, MA and half-sister Ashley Hill of Fall River, MA.

Following cremation a memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, September 30th from 5:00PM to 8:00PM in the Russell & Pica Funeral Home, 441 South Main Street, West Bridgewater, MA 02379.
