She formerly resided in Fredricksburg where she had lived for more than 50 years and retired from Safeway Stores.
Polly was a member of Riverview Baptist Church of Ripplemead, VA.
She is preceded in death by her parents, John and Garnet Houchins; brothers, Granvil Houchins, and Roscoe Houchins; and a sister, Louise Shafer.
She is survived by a son, Thomas Riddle (Frances) of Spotsylvania, VA; a daughter, Margaret Sullivan (Patrick) of Georgetown, Texas; grandson, Justin Riddle (Jessica) of King George, VA; a great-grandson, Bodie Riddle of King George, Virginia; sister, Gladys Lucas of Pembroke, VA; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be conducted May 23, 2023 at 1:00 PM in Birchlawn Burial Park in Pearisburg, VA. A guestbook is available to send condolences by visiting www.kendallfuneralhome.com. The staff of Kendall Funeral Home are honored to serve the Riddle Family.
