Mau Thi Vu, aged 81, passed away peacefully on September 11, 2025, in St. Petersburg, Florida, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born on March 2, 1944, in Thai Binh, Viet Nam, Mau was a devout individual who dedicated her life to her faith and family, always providing love and support to those around her. Mau is survived by her loving husband, Lung Dinh Vu; her children, Huong Cam Thi Vu, Hung Quoc Vu, Oanh Hoang Thi Vu, Trang Thuy Thi Vu, Thuy Thanh Thi Vu, and Trinh Doan Thi Nguyen, all with their respective families; and her son, Thien Chan Vu and family. She was preceded in death by her son, Viet Quoc Vu. Mau's life will be celebrated with a viewing on Friday, September 19, 2025, from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at Memorial Park Funeral Home, located at 5750 49th St N, St. Petersburg, FL. A Funeral Mass will be held the following day, Saturday, September 20, at 9:00 AM at Holy Martyrs Of Vietnam Parish, 4000 43rd St N, St. Petersburg, FL. The burial service will take place at 11:00 AM at Calvary Catholic Cemetery, 5233 118th Ave N, Clearwater, FL. Memorial Park Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. Mau Thi Vu's kind spirit and selfless nature will be deeply missed by all who knew her, leaving behind a legacy of warmth and generosity that will not be forgotten.
