Maude went to be with her Lord on May 17, 2025.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Dan and Dellie Light; her husband of 64 years, Pastor Orville Dolen; her brothers, Carl, Earl and Pete Light; her sisters, Hazel Hill, Mae Fletcher and Betty Jo Light.
She is survived by her sons, Roy (Kathy) Dolen, Charlie “Tim” (Sue) Dolen, Ron (Faye) Dolen and Pastor Dan (Susie) Dolen; her grandchildren, Traci (Jason) Taylor, Todd (Darci) Dolen, Jennifer (Stephen) Cavin, Gina (Eric) Davenport, Adam Dolen and Philip (Keisha) Dolen; her great-grandchildren, Noah and Judah Dolen, Carter, Caitlyn and Charlie Cavin, William and Ivy Dolen; her sisters, Bonnie Cox and Mable Light; and several nieces and nephews.
Special thanks to the late Lowell Grizzle/P & S Pharmacy, Melisha Christian, FNP, HVMC 5th Floor ICU nurses, Patsy Crawford and a very special late sister-in-law, Pauline “Pod” Rogers, for all their kindness and care to our mother.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 20, 2025 at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Fall Branch. A funeral service will follow at 7:00 p.m. with Pastor Dan Dolen officiating and honorary, Rev. Lewie Meade.
Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, May 21, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at the Duncan Cemetery, 5280 Lonestar Road.
Pallbearers will be grandsons and great-grandsons.
