Maura Díaz Flores, de 50 años, residente de Asheboro, Carolina del Norte, falleció en paz el 26 de Agosto de 2025 en Randolph Hospice House.
Maura nació el 18 de Diciembre de 1974 en La Peña Isla Veracruz, México, hija de Mauro Díaz y Victoria Flores. Fue una mujer hermosa cuya sonrisa iluminaba cualquier lugar. Como madre, compañera y abuela dedicada, siempre puso a su familia en primer lugar y trabajó con amor para mantenerlos unidos.
Fue una cocinera excepcional, con comidas inigualables, y llenó su hogar de calidez, risas y el delicioso aroma de su cocina. Mujer de fe, a Maura le encantaba cuidar de su jardín, mantener todo limpio y ordenado, y asistir a los juegos deportivos de sus nietos para animarlos desde las gradas. Era conocida por su gran corazón, su incansable espíritu de trabajo y su fortaleza—luchando con valentía hasta el final.
Le precedieron en la muerte sus padres y su hermano, Ramón Díaz.
Le sobreviven sus hijos, Jesús Díaz, Paola Díaz, Larisa Díaz y Yoselin Díaz; su compañero, Mariano Ramírez; sus nietos, Anthony, Alexander y Kehlani; y sus hermanos, Alfonso Díaz, Tereso Díaz, Isabel Díaz y Francisca Díaz.
Su amor, fe y alegría por la vida vivirán para siempre en los corazones de su familia y amigos.
El servicio fúnebre será el 28 de Agosto a las 6:00 p.m. en la Iglesia Evangélica El Nazareno, ubicada en 1809 N Fayetteville St, con el Pastor Rubén Almeida Domínguez oficiando. El entierro se llevará a cabo el 29 de Agosto a las 10:00 a.m. en New Hope Memorial Gardens, 3448 New Hope Church Rd.
Maura Diaz Flores, age 50, of Asheboro, NC, passed away peacefully on August 26, 2025, at Randolph Hospice House.
Maura was born on December 18, 1974, in Mexico, to Mauro Diaz and Victoria Flores. She was a beautiful woman whose radiant smile could brighten any room. A devoted mother, partner, and grandmother, she always made sure family came first and worked hard to bring everyone together.
She was a fantastic cook whose meals were unmatched, and she filled her home with warmth, laughter, and the smells of her kitchen. A woman of deep faith, Maura loved tending to her garden, keeping everything clean and neat, and attending her grandchildren’s sporting events to cheer them on. She was known for her loving heart, her tireless work ethic, and her strength—fighting bravely until the very end.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Ramon Diaz.
Maura is survived by her children, Jesus Diaz, Paola Diaz, Larisa Diaz, and Yoselin Diaz; her partner, Mariano Ramirez; her grandchildren, Anthony, Alexander, and Kehlani; and her siblings, Alfonso Diaz, Tereso Diaz, Isabel Diaz, and Francisca Diaz.
Her love, faith, and joy for life will forever live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
Funeral Service will be on August 28 at 6:00pm at Iglesia Evangelica El Nazareno, 1809 N Fayetteville St, with Pastor Ruben Almeida Dominguez officiating. Burial will on August 29 at 10am at New Hope Memorial Gardens, 3448 New Hope Church Rd.
