Maureen Anne Collins passed away peacefully on September 8, 2025, at the age of 69, after a courageous battle with Parkinson's Disease. Born at Sisters Hospital in Santa Cruz, California, Maureen was a proud descendant of the pioneering Rodriguez-Perez family, whose roots in the region trace back to the late 18th century at the Villa de Branciforte.

Raised in the coastal charm of Capitola, Maureen graduated from Soquel High School, Class of 1974, where she formed lifelong friendships and cultivated the tenacity that would define her career and passions. She began her professional journey in electronic sales, working with Plessey Semiconductors and AMD, before channeling her entrepreneurial spirit into founding and operating Great Legs Wines in Newport Beach, California-a venture that beautifully blended her love for viticulture and community.

Maureen's zest for life was evident in everything she did. She was an avid traveler and scuba diver, with a deep appreciation for the beach and the natural beauty of California's coastline. Her knowledge of wines and her ability to bring people together over a shared glass made her home a place of warmth and laughter.

She was the beloved daughter of John T. Collins and Rosemary Devitt-Collins, both of whom preceded her in death. Maureen is survived by her devoted daughter, Monika Endrizzi, and Monika's partner, Martin Jordan; her cherished grandson Colton Jack; and her loving brothers John T. Collins II (Annalea), Kevin Sean Collins (Tracy), and Terrence Stephen Collins (Earlene). She also leaves behind a large extended family of nieces, nephews, and friends who will miss her wit, generosity, and unwavering spirit.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the Parkinson's Foundation or the Soquel High School Fund, causes close to Maureen's heart.

Her legacy lives on in the lives she touched, the stories she shared, and the strength she showed. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered. A memorial and scattering of ashes will occur at a later date.
