Maureen was a beloved mother to her daughters, Tamara St. Louis (Guy) and Hilary Crouse. She was a proud and cherished Nina to her grandchildren, Benjamin and Briana St. Louis, her "Benji and Breezy." Maureen is survived by her brothers, James Gibney and Thomas Gibney; a sister, Sharleen Cole; and several nieces and nephews. Maureen was predeceased by her brother, Joseph Gibney. She also leaves behind her adored granddog, Jacoby.
Maureen had a remarkable career as a flight attendant with Eastern Airlines. She enjoyed the camaraderie and sharing her airline stories that usually ended in laughter. She was a member of the Eastern Airlines Silverliners. Maureen relished in travelling.
A proud "St. Marys Girl from Lynn," Maureen loved her family, friends, and Boston sports. Everyone was always welcome into her home, and rarely left empty-handed.
She was a parishioner of Saint Marys Parish in Rowley.
The family suggests wearing something green on Saturday to honor Maureen and her love of everything Irish.
Calling hours will be Friday, March 8, 2024, from 4-7 p.m., at F. S. Roberts & Son Funeral Home, 14 Independent Street, Rowley, MA. Relatives and friends are invited to a Memorial Mass on Saturday, March 9, 2024, at 11 a.m., at Saint Mary Parish, 202 Main Street, Rowley. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Angel Flight, N.E., 492 Sutton St., North Andover, MA 01845, (https://www.angelflightne.org/).
