Maureen Derwald Obituary
(nee Moran)
Feb 22, 1945 - Sep 2, 2025
Age 80. Daughter of David and Bertice Moran. She was the youngest of 13 children. She is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Richard J. Derwald, her son, Richard K. Derwald, daughter-in-law Debbie Derwald, her grandchildren, Summer, Jada, Sawyer and Hunter, and her sister, Patricia O'Sullivan. Maureen was an award-winning hair stylist and the owner and manager of the Head To Toe day spa, the first complete service salon in this area in 1983 with offerings such as Massage Therapy, Skin Care and Hair Styling. Her glowing smile, her boundless kindness and her always optimistic attitude proved to be endearing to all that knew her. Maureen was a blessing to her family and will always be their most treasured memory. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Arrangement made by AMIGONE FUNERAL HOME, INC.
