Maureen Evans passed away March 9, 2026 at her home. She was born in Wilkinsburg, Pennsylvania on September 14, 1964, to Tom and Sue Evans.
Maureen was an outstanding student throughout her years in Oklahoma, United Kingdom, and Florida. She completed requirements for a Masters in Business Administration with undergraduate degree for Marketing at West Florida University in Pensacola, Florida. She then went on to teach and work with computers for T-Mobile, Cox Enterprises and lastly with Georgia Pacific. She was happiest when she was solving computer programming problems for her family and co-workers. Maureen was always frustrated with individuals who would not apply themselves to their job and wait for someone to tell them how to accomplish their task.
She had a soft spot for animals and owned a number of rescue dogs. Three were part husky mixes and her latest love was Toby an adorable dachshund pit bull mix. Maureen is survived by her mother Sue Evans, her friends Luis Aparcana, Nico Aparcana and Jeaneth Diaz, and many cousins, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her father. There will be no services and she will be cremated.
