Not a single day or thought passes without you in it. Please welcome Mom home and show her around a bit. Mom, Dad, aunt Beth and I are doing well, hoping to move closer so we can all be together. I Love you always and forever sis. Until we meet again.

I knew Maureen in Morro Bay, California in the late 1980s. She liked to fly away in whatever direction took her fancy. She eventually flew where I could not follow. I miss her still.

I am shocked by this, as I only conducted an online search to see if I might reach after working with her in 2003. She had been my supervisor in Sarajevo, and had encouraged me to follow the career track I am in. She managed both beauty inside and out, and I send condolences to all family and friends who knew her far better than I.

I have known Maureen since we came into the Foreign Service together back in 98. Last summer we had the opportunity to catch up when were in language training. A lovely, sweet, kind, and gifted young woman, with a real talent for languages. A terrible loss. Deepest condolences to her family.

A fellow UCLA Bruin and alumuna of the University of California Education Program in France, Maureen possessed a rare combination of worldly intelligence, strong spirit, and remarkable beauty.
The lives of her friends, family, and colleagues are so much poorer on each day that passes without her presence.
