Maureen June Julien

Maureen June Julien, 72, of Bloomfield, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 13, 2015 at her home. She was born June 25, 1943 in Hartford to the late Benjamin and Ann (Shore) Glassman. For many years Maureen was a sales representative for the lighting industry, working for Gallery of Lights, Lamp Fair, ACME and most recently Connecticut Lighting Center in Hartford. She loved to dance and had participated in many plays as well. She is survived by her partner, James Pinto of Bloomfield; her daughter, Deanie Julien Wysor and her husband Jim of East Hampton; her son, Mark Julien of East Hartford; her brother, Dr. David Glassman and his wife Helen of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; as well as her two grandchildren, Benjamin and Ethan Wysor. She is also survived by her former husband Richard Julien. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, December, 15, 11 a.m. at the Carmon Windsor Funeral Home, 807 Bloomfield Ave., Windsor. Her family will receive friends from 10:30-11 a.m. prior to the service. Rabbi Ken Alter will be presiding. Burial will follow in Beth Hillel Cemetery, East Granby.
