A native New Yorker, Maureen was a graduate of St. Nicholas of Tolentine High School in the Bronx, NY. She earned a degree in Business from St. John's University in New York, NY. She went back to school later in life to pursue a career in Nursing, which was her real calling. Maureen married the love of her life, Eddy Lee, and the two would spend over five decades together, raising a family and creating countless beautiful and happy memories. In 2015, Maureen and Eddy decided to make their home in Milton, DE to be close to the beach, which was Maureen's favorite place to be. Maureen enjoyed sitting by the ocean and dancing with Eddy & friends whenever she had the chance.
Maureen was always thinking of other people above herself, which is why Nursing was the ideal profession for her. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, nana, and friend. Her family and friends will forever miss the beautiful smile and the way she made everyone feel at home in her presence.
Maureen is survived by her daughter, Melinda (Johnathan Davis), son, Christopher (Elizabeth) and her grandchildren, Nora, Seamus and Jaxson Davis.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM at Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium Atkins-Lodge Chapel, 16961 Kings Highway, Lewes DE.
Visitation will begin at 2:00 PM.

When I first met my husband he had a group of friends that he was close to. Only two of the couples were married. We all became fast fruebds. We spent most weekends together doing things young couples do. Luckily all the women got along as well and there are many great memories .that we share. Maureen loved to dance abd so did Eddie so many weekends we were all together having a few cocktails and dancing. She was a great friend and I will miss her terribly. We had our kids about the same time and spent much time together on holidays .
