Maureen Scordato Obituary
Maureen P. Scordato,85, of Bayville passed away on November 7, 2023. Maureen was many things in her life, the most important being a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who loved spending time with her family. Maureen was born on June 21, 1938, and raised in Paterson, New Jersey where she met the one and only true love of her life, Joseph Scordato. After marrying her husband, she moved to Wyckoff, New Jersey where she resided for thirty years. Maureen spent her later years in life residing in Bayville, New Jersey where she moved almost 30 years ago. She loved making memories with her family as well as traveling around the world with her husband.
Maureen is survived by her beloved husband of 67 years Joseph Scordato, her two daughters Linda Trancucci and her husband Tom, Lauren Patzelt and her husband Doug, seven grandchildren Anthony, Dan, Joe, Doug, Greg, Ashley, and Christopher. She had eight great grandchildren as well as many nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.
Visiting hours for relatives and friends will be on Tuesday November 14, 2023, from 10:00-12:00 pm at Mastapeter Memorial Home, 270 Atlantic City Blvd., Bayville, NJ. A Service and Entombment will be at 12:30pm at Ocean County Memorial Park, 1722 Silverton Road, Toms River, NJ. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to your choice in her memory.
