Maureen Lee Walsh
September 20, 1957 – October 14, 2025
Maureen Lee Walsh (née Beiswenger), 68, passed away peacefully on October 14, 2025, in Pennsylvania. Born in Boonton, New Jersey, Maureen made her home in Fort Washington, PA, where she built a life filled with creativity, independence, and love.
In her younger years, Maureen spent her twenties traveling the world as a fashion designer, exploring new places and cultures that would shape her adventurous spirit. Later, she combined her artistic eye and entrepreneurial drive to found GardenWorx, a high-end garden design company where she transformed countless outdoor spaces into beautiful works of art. She especially cherished the years she spent working side-by-side with her son, creating and sharing in the work she loved most.
Maureen had a lifelong passion for gardening, crafting, and travel-with Paris holding a special place in her heart. She was known for her love of lemon drop martinis, her impeccable taste, and her strong-willed, fearless nature. Above all, Maureen will be remembered for the deep love she held for her family and the strength she carried through every chapter of her life.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Timothy Michael Walsh Sr., her son Timothy Michael Walsh Jr., her mother Ellen Wood, her brother Michael Beiswenger, brother-in-law Patrick McMenamin, sister-in-law Shannon McMenamin, and nieces Reilly and Morgan McMenamin. She was preceded in death by her father, Al Beiswenger. Maureen also leaves behind her cherished dog, Biscuit, who brought her daily joy and companionship.
Though there will be no formal service, Maureen lives on in the memories and hearts of those who loved her. In her honor, the family asks that donations be made to the Breakthrough Type 1 Diabetes (Formerly JDRF) (Breakthrough Type 1 Diabetes (Formerly JDRF)), supporting a cause close to her heart.
