Sending our condolences to the Bates family. We enjoyed getting to know Maurice these last few years. He had become our neighborhood family and we are truly missing him. Our (5) yr old son will definitely miss seeing Maurice. Maurice had become one of RJ´s favorite people to talk to. I really appreciate the time we had with Maurice and we will truly miss having him around. I will definitely keep the Bates family in my prayers.

Maurice was a gentle giant. The last time I visited my sister Pudding in Georgia he was the one who took me to the airport at 6am. I will miss our conversations and his warm affectionate smile. Maurice rest in eternal peace.
